Vtg 40s/50s Pencil Skirt Suit Jacket Syd Chicago 14.

Condition is "New with tags".

Vintage Classic Syd of Chicago dress Offered for sale is a Vintage Classic Syd of Chicago skirt suit.

The jacket is a wasp waist peplum style, three quarter sleeves. Extra fabric at the back between the shoulders. Jacket fastens with four self fabric covered buttons and features a large rose flower made from this fabric on the right shoulder.

The skirt is simplicity itself, very narrow silhouette, fastens at the side with amber button and metal zip. Main feature is an 8 inch long kick pleat in the centre back.

Labelled a 14 but go by the measurements below.

I have another dress of the same Label. That one says it all. “1st in Style 2nd to none” Syd Chicago! Great muted colors of purple, blue brown cream. The pattern is overall floral.

Fabric is Dacron polyester. Both the jacket and skirt are unlined.
