Nice Antique Pink Gingham Western Style Bonnet, c.1880-90

DESCRIPTION: Scans show it all.....Very nice, very early woman's bonnet. Typical style worn by women, especially farm wives and western frontier women. Has great lines, as shown, and would make a great sun bonnet, having a relatively long, large brim. CAN STILL BE USED OR WOULD MAKE A GREAT DISPLAY ITEM OR COSTUME ITEM. I believe you will be very pleased with it!

In very good condition overall. Shows use but the outside is not too light or bleached out by years in the sun, probably very similar to the look of the  cloth originally. Both cloth ties are still there and in excellent condition.

THIS COULD BE WORN AS IS TO PROVIDE AN ORIGINAL, CLASSIC LOOK. IT WOULD ALSO BE A GREAT COSTUME ITEM, great for authentic Civil War re-enacting. It would also make a dramatic wall decoration, or look great framed. It would also look great on a mannequin for display, as a background/accent piece in a variety of collections, or as a great, unique decoration in a hat shop!!
