18th century (1722-96) Qing Dynasty Yongzheng period small plate exported from China to France by the French East India Company (Companie des Indes). This pristine multi-lobed plate is hand-painted in over-glaze polychrome enamels in a bouquet of fruit and flowers and surrounded by a delicate gilt border at outer rim This was  a motif favored during the period in the court of Louis XV.


CONDITION: Excellent with no cracks, frits, chips or hairlines. Minor glaze imperfections typical of manufacture during this period
