. Heres an amazing one year type. A 1790 3 florin in NGC MS61. An incredibly desirable type, exceedingly scarce in grades of AU and above. Low mintage of only 44,000 pieces. This type was minted during a revolt by the Belgians against Joseph II. The revolt failed, but the entirety of the Austrian Netherlands was annexed by France in 1797. A really choice example of the type. An AU58 sold in a stacks sale recently for $1440. A similar grade piece sold in France for around $1600 in March including buyers fee. This is UNCIRCULATED.

An UNC details cleaned example just sold for $1758 plus buyers fee, or around $2100 at CGB.FR june 2021 sale.
