The aquatic warbler is a migratory species. Inhabits only open sedge lowland bogs. Breeds in Belarus, Hungary, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Russia and Ukraine. The center of the modern area is the Polesie lowland. Appears in late April - early May in spring, flies in August.
