  2. The EF-E II adapter can allow you to intall Canon EF mount lenses on Sony E mount APS-C camera perfectly.Thanks to the built-in optical lens (4 elements / 4 groups), it can increase the aperture by one f/stop and extend the focal length.

  4. EF-E II comes with USB port for firmware update and and a switch to select CDAF or PDAF focus model.

Upgraded Function(Comparison with EF-E I):
1.Two Auto Focus model :
  a) PDAF(phase detection auto focus): Focus speed is faster.
  b) CDAF (contrast detection auto focus):Focus success rate is higher 
2.Firmware upgrade can be operated via the USB port. 
3.Support more Canon lenses and Sony E mount cameras
 
Notice:
1.To update adapter firmware, latest firmware can be download from official website, connect adapter to computer with USB cable and copy the file into adapter memory. Do not required to attach lens or camera. 
2.To change AF mode, switch to desired AF mode on adapter, then turn off camera, take out battery, insert battery and turn camera back on again for camera to recognize new AF mode as a new lens. Slow focus will happen on low end lenses in CDAF mode.
3.VG series does not support AF.

Notes:

-This Speed Booster adapter is NOT fully compatible with full-frame Sony A7, A7R and A7S. When the Speed Booster are used with Sony A7, A7R or A7S the camera is required to be used in the "APS-C Size Capture" mode.

-It cannot be used in EF-S lens.
