You are bidding on about 30 CAESARS BROTHER SIBERIAN IRIS SEEDS - Iris siberica .  

Perfect for the rock garden , the leaves are very thin for an iris getting about 1/2" wide and 1 1/2 foot tall with 3" flowers from dark blue to purple .

Foliage: green; leaves tend to be short at flowering and elongate after bloom fades to a length of about 12 inches.
 
Hardiness: zones 5-9

Medicinal use of Siberian Iris: 

Expectorant.

Edible parts of Siberian Iris: 

Root - an edible starch is said to be extracted from it. The root is not eaten in China. Some caution is advised since there are reports that the plant might be poisonous. Perhaps the extracted starch is edible.
