Here's a wild funky hand made trinket hat from years ago.  I think it's made with wool, but I'm not positive.  It has trinkets and charms all over it.  They are each stitched on by hand, but the stitches are getting very loose, so you will want to tighten them before wearing it.  The snake is broken, but I'm sure you could glue it together if you want, or just take it off.   The following charms are on it:
