Our 175mm Purlins are lightweight and easy to install, made using 1.8mm  Z39 galvanised structural steel at 1.8mm thick, are low maintenance, so no extra painting or treating is required.

FAQs

FAQs

Please find answers to some of the most popular questions below

Decking Boards

Q: Does the composite decking have a guarantee?

A: Yes, we believe our product is of a high standard and back that up with a warranty for your peace of mind. All our boards have a 10-year warranty provided it has been installed following our installation guidelines. For full terms and conditions please see the our Warranty page.

Q: Are the decking boards reversible?

A: We advise the boards to be laid small groove side up. You may wish to lay them differently, but please note our warranty is for boards laid groove side up only. You may experience increased slippage and colour change when laying the boards differently, and this is done at your discretion.

Q: Will I get a colour difference with my decking boards?

A: Our composite decking boards are produced in batches and made from 60% recycled hardwood making this a natural product. For this reason slight colour variations may occur (more noticeable when purchasing different lengths of boards or when laying the boards “wide groove  up”) We advise purchasing decking boards in the same lengths to avoid initial colour difference.

Roofing Sheets

Q: Which type of sheet is right for me?

A: Depending on building type, use and appearance, we manufacture and supply 4 different types of profiled sheeting, all of which can be supplied to the exact length necessary in a choice of colours, with complimenting roof lights, flashings, fixings, fillers etc.

Q. What width do the sheets actually cover when lapped on the roof?

A. The 34/1000 profile sheets actually cover 1 metre and our corrugated covers 990mm.

Q. How much should each sheet be lapped?

A. Just 1 corrugation or profile. However, you may want to lap more corrugations or profiles on the last sheet of the run so the last sheet does not protrude over the end of the roof.
