This is an antique pipe tamper or wax seal matrix pocket combination tool in the shape of a leg wearing a boot. 

It is 19th Century and not to be confused as a modern copy as it is not. 

No maker's marks etc.

In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. The metal ware is tarnished and there are a few dints here and there.

It measures approx. 50mm long x 10mm in diameter on the tampering end.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter.
