This is a beautiful, vintage, original, enamelware piece used for holding matches. It says “Allumettes” across the front and has a lid that lifts to store matches. There is a backing to box and can be hung anywhere. It has light wear with no major rust spots or weakening of metal. The lid opens and closes easily. There is some wear to the lettering as can be seen in photos and lightening of color. It appears there may have been some painted trim too that has faded. Please view photos for overall condition.

Measurements: The box depth & height is 2 3/4 inches. The width of box is 5 1/2 inches. The backing to box measures 7 3/4 inches.
