This is an antique cast metal bird ornament. Can't see any markings or maker's names etc. There is a hole in its beak so I guess it's meant to be holding something. Not sure what's going on.

The bird is a pewter like spelter metal and its stood on a brass base. 

In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. Not sure if it was originally on this little stand, the soldering looks weird and the base is a different metal to the rest.

It measures approx. 5 inches tall x 2 and 1/2 inches x 2 and 1/2 inches.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter.
