About Michel Pleau: Born in Trois-Rivières in 1949, Michel Pleau lives in Mauricie. Gifted with a natural talent for drawing, he was introduced to painting at a young age by his father, himself an artist. Living on his art since 1992, he now devotes himself to painting landscapes in oils on canvas. His compositions made with a spatula are marked with a rich and particular texture, vibrant colors and a remarkable play of light. They are imbued with realism without however compromising the style and the look specific to their creator.
A propos de Michel Pleau : Né à Trois-Rivières en 1949, Michel Pleau habite en Mauricie. Doué d’un talent naturel pour le dessin, il fut initié très jeune à la peinture par son père, lui même artiste. Vivant de son art depuis 1992, il se consacre aujourd’hui à peindre des paysages à l’huile sur toile. Ses compositions faites à l’aide d’une spatule sont marquées d’une texture riche et particulière, de couleurs vibrantes et d’un jeu de lumière remarquable. Elles sont empreintes de réalisme sans toutefois compromettre le style et le regard propre à leur créateur.
