What we have here is a sheffield silver double ink well set with silver topped glass wells. This set features ornate scrolled edging and flanged feet while the ink wells have flip up hinged lids and sunburst bases. The makers marks have worn due to rubbing although both the wells and stand are stamped with a crown, lion passsant and letter a which dates this set around 1918. Moreover, this style of ink well would compliment any office desk or period property.

As for the cosmetic condition this ink well set has been use and is in excellent condition with minor use and age related signs of handling scratch marks to the wells and plinth. Although nothing that seriously effect there looks. Therefore I'd rate them as 9/10.
