EXTREMELY RARE ORIGINAL LARGE ANTIQUE 1926 GIRL'S TEAM BASKETBALL PHOTO

DESCRIPTION: Scans show it all....rare antique 1926 women's/girls basketball team photo. Shows 10 players and a coach, the players who are all wearing matching outfits/uniforms, with skirts, knee socks, sneakers, etc.as shown. Nice pose, each with a hand on the girl in front's shoulder. Also wearing.high basketball shoes, etc. ALSO SHOWS A BASKETBALL IN THE CENTER, WITH "TCA 25-26" PAINTED ON IT.

THIS IS A GREAT, VERY EARLY ANTIQUE FEMALE TOWN OR SCHOOL BASKETBALL TEAM PHOTO. I don't think I have ever seen such an early women's team photo before and this is a very scarce early photo and very early subject matter..  This was no doubt an important photo for one of the team members or fans of the early 1900's!! 

It is a nice, rare period photo. Overall size is approximately 6 3/4" x 4 3/4".. 

It is an absolutely original period photo. Has great detailed features and subject matter, and scans show the details. GREAT DETAIL CONVEYED IN THE COMPOSITION & SCENE!!! Looks like it was taken in the photographer's studio. Great detail of the early uniforms and the game of basketball.  You will not be disappointed with this, especially if you are interested in or collect women's items..
