Vintage Simplicity sewing pattern no. 2318, dated 1957 on the instruction sheet, is for making leotards and skirts for aspiring ballerinas. Leotards have elastic in casing at leg edges and top-stitching trim. Can be made with high or low neckline; can be made sleeveless or with short or long set-in sleeves. Snap opening at lower edge. Short flared skirts have elastic casing at waistline and size zipper opening. Can be plain or ruffled. For girls' size 6 (chest 24, waist 22, hip 26). Envelope has some light wear, but pattern inside is perfect, UNUSED and UNCUT, complete with instructions.
