Items under consideration are an elegant set of 11, mouth blown crystal, 8 1/2 inch tall, iconic ballerina commemorative edition, FABERGE WINE GOBLETS with frosted figurine stem. Produced in France by Faberge.

Design:
The 8 1/8 inch tall goblet has a slightly flared 3 inch diameter bowl, frosted figurine stem, and 3 inch diameter smooth base. The unique stem has two parts, the 5 sided panel cut lower 1 3/4 inches and the upper 2 3/4 inches containing the double-sided frosted intaglio relief of a graceful ballerina. The intaglio is a replica of the Russian iconic ballerina Anna Pavlova participating in her famous operatic role in the Dying Swan opera. The full length ballerina figure is posed in the releve position with wings attached, representing a swan for her role. Frosted Ballerina figure is 3 inch x 1 inch, double-sided and finely detailed (photo# 8). 
The base is signed in script ‘Igor Carl Faberge’ and 'FM 80’ (Franklin Mint- 1980). 
 
Designed by Carl Faberge specifically for the Igor Faberge-Franklin Mint’s commemorative collection to honor the centenary of Anna Pavlova in 1980.

Ballerina Anna Pavlova (1881-1931):
Anna Pavlova was a Russian Prima Ballerina during the late 19th and early 29th century. She was the principal artist of the Russian ballet and the ballets Russes.
Pavlova is most recognized for her creation of the operatic role of the ‘dying swan’. With her own company, became the first ballerina to tour around the world, including performances in South Africa, America, India and Australia.
