Our molds can be made with food grade or non-food grade silicone. The food grade silicone mold can be used for chocolate, fondant, sugar, candy, butter or any other edible below 395 degrees Fahrenheit. The non-food grade silicone molds is an excellent product to use with various other materials, such as wax, soap, gypsum/plaster, epoxy, PMC, all types of resin, polymer clay, paper or anything else you can think of.
Our process: To create the highest quality mold with the most intricate detail, we take the extra time to pour the silicone to create your mold. We do not press the item into silicone putty. We then use a vacuum system to remove any air from the silicone. Using only the finest American made silicone for your molds will guarantee quality reproductions for many years. We guarantee you will receive professional quality molds. Molds are flexible with no need for a releasing agent. On more intricate molds, you may wish to put the filled mold in the freezer for a few minutes to avoid distortion when de-molding.
The original items used to create the molds are not included. You are purchasing the silicone mold only.
Please do not use the non-food grade molds for food.
Please Note: Occasionally I change the shape or color of the silicone molds, making improvements to ease the release of casts or improve the look of the mold. The shape and size of the item will not change, just the overall shape of the mold may.
