Ford Zetec Aluminium Crank Case Breather Blanking Plate

Made exclusively for DSE to our design and specification. Originally designed for our Ginetta Zetec builds this part can be retro fitted to most Zetec applications.

These plates made from super light 3mm Aluminium, weighing in at just 25g it is considerably lighter than our standard go to Stainless plates (pictured on the scales second at 75g) and then vs the standard Ford breather box at a whopping 740g… How much would you usually spend to save 700g on a race car!…

Used in their standard form in a turbo or dry sump application they seal the lower crankcase completely or for most NA applications you can drill a hole and weld or bolt a fitting or pipe, of your choice, to run to a catch tank. Alternately if space is too tight you can use this and just use the cam cover breather, although in some engines this may need enlarging.
