ANTIQUE MAP OF AFRICA c1880s
Condition: Very Good
Fault(s): n/a
Detail: A very fine colour printed lithograph detailing the continent of Africa c1880s. The map was published by William MacKenzie (London, Edinburgh & Glasgow). This item measures 313 x 246 mm, and would look great framed. The map ingeniously folds in half, having been published originally within an encyclopaedia. Although the map folds the fold itself is hardly noticeable, and it lies beautifully flat when opened out.
We have provided two scans of the map. The whole map did not scan completely on our scanner. The first scan shows the upper portion of the map, the second scan the lower portion.
