The Classic II has been pretreated to repel moisture and protect against staining so that they can better handle surprise drizzles and life's little spills.

stain and water resistance

A few drops on the Classic II won't hurt them, but the Classic II is not meant for rain, snow, or any large amount of liquid. While these boots have been pre-treated to repel moisture and protect against stains, large amounts of liquid or extended exposure to liquid will eventually soak through. The pre-treatment will also eventually wear off over time so we recommend applying Water and Stain Repellent every few months.
