Here is a vintage French pewter - tin medal named the Naissance d'Eve. Renaissance of Eve.

It is dated 1957 and has the name Emile Rousseau 1er Grand Prix De Rome 25 Juin 1957.

This person was a general engraver.

This is marked as 146/160.

It has a small hallmark on the edge with the name Etain. This is the French word for PEWTER or TIN.

With lots of animals on the rev.

In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. There are some fine surface scuffs etc.

Actually I have found a few of these on line and others tend to not to be as well to look at as this one, unless my photographer has taken better photographs.

It measures approx. 72mm in diameter.
It weighs 120.6g.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.

Since the UK left the EU there maybe VAT and customs duty to pay ( IOSS and tariff codes ) and customs can hold onto packages for up to 6 months ( Italian and Spanish buyers telling me they paid customs when buying and then their postal service wanted the same amount again before the item is delivered.. this is WRONG ! ) all this having a knock-on effect on me as the sender. I have got more "WHERE IS MY ITEM" disputes in the last 6 months than in all my 19 years on here and the amount of items that eventually turn up is shocking. All this is frustrating and out of my control. If you are a buyer from Europe and you do NOT mind waiting longer for your items, for customs and the postal services to get their finger out and deliver your items then please message me and I will happily sell you an item, on the proviso you don't hold me responsible for the incompetence of your own government departments.
