Vintage Mid Century Abbatt Toys Wooden Alphabet Letter Blocks.

The Abbatt Toy company has a well documented history and is featured on the Victoria and Albert Museum website - see link http://www./moc/article/paul-and-marjorie-abbatt-ltd./The husband and wife team who owned the company believed that toys should be both functional in design and educational. The company was founded in 1932 and closed in 1971 after the death of Paul Abbatt. I believe that this interlocking alphabet set probably dates from the 1960s.

No markings on the blocks, no blocks missing. Good condition for age. Some light marks and wear to the wooden box especially on the bottom .  Please see pictures.
