4 Nice Greetings Novelty Antique Postcards.Heavy EMB,Gold Trim. Fuzzy Flowers  

This is a very nice selection of 4 NOVELTY postcards that are UNIQUE and DESIRABLE.  These postcards were made to be sent out for GREETINGS and FRIENDSHIP occasions. These postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. These postcards are EMBOSSED and 2 are HEAVY EMBOSSED with an extra sheet on the back.  One is DIE CUT, and it is a fold out; it opens to reveal the message.  

The postcards show FLOWERS, and three have GOLD TRIM.    

This is a nice group of antique novelty postcards that have the classic look of the postcards of that era, and these are collector items that will keep their value.  One postcard says "Best Wishes" and it shows a purple fuzzy flower with green leaves that were AIR BRUSHED.  Another postcard has a gray background, and shows purple fuzzy flowers and green four leaf clovers. There is gold trim on this postcard and it outlines the clover.  There is a postcard that is a "souvenir" from Hoosick Falls, NY, and it shows a pink and white fuzzy flower with gold trim on the stem and message.  The last postcard says "Best Wishes" and this one is die cut, and it opens up to reveal a message.  On the side that opens, there are purple fuzzy flowers and greenery. The message is in gold trim.  

These are colorful and desirable antique postcards that are nicely designed.  These are collector items because of their age, how they were embossed and cut, how they were made with fuzzy flowers, and their appeal to antique Greetings and Novelty postcard collectors.     

The postcards are UNPOSTED (3) and POSTED (1) with a cancel date of 1912. These postcards were most likely made in Germany during the 1907 - 1910 era, the time known as the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915). They have DIVIDED backs.  

These are BETTER POSTCARDS and are good for a collector or dealer. They will keep their value.  Often these postcards are sold as individual items for many dollars each. They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and their backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope.
