    The main effect of African dream root is to induce vivid and lucid dreams, as well as enhancing the quality of sleep. Dreams become more intense and memorable, and with practice even fully lucid. Silene capensis enhances lucidity, but this state is easiest achieved by those who already have experience in navigating the dreamworld.
    It is worth noting that the effects of African dream root are not always immediate, often the plant has to be taken for a few days to experience the vividness of dreams. However, once it has kicked in, you can expect to enter the bizarre world of dreams on a more conscious level. Also, the root leaves you feeling refreshed upon wakening.
    In large singular quantities, African dream root can have a purging quality. Although no harmful effects have ever been recorded, it can cause vomiting – so it is advisable to stick to recommended doses 100mg-300mg per day.

  • Blue Lotus Extract - Nuciferine 10% has a confirmed 10% Nuciferine, one of the main active ingredients in Blue Lotus Flowers.

    Nuciferine is an alkaloid found within the plants Nymphaea caerulea and Nelumbo nucifera. Nuciferine possesses, anti-inflamatory, anti-hyperlipidemia, anti-hypotensive, anti-arrhythmic, and insulin secretagogue activities.

    Nuciferine has an enriched pharmacological profile, with affinities for a number of serotonergic and dopaminergic receptors. Nuciferine and its derivatives might lead to a new family of atypical antipsychotic compounds. Furthermore, a recent identified mechanism of action related to its anti-inflammatory activity, suggest this molecule might also play a role in the treatment of depression and posttraumatic stress disorder. Nuciferine was already reported to have antipsychotic properties, comparable to chlorpromazine.

    Nuciferine has also earlier been isolated from the Indian lotus, the Nelumbo nucifera, a plant used in an Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia for the treatment of certain mental disorders. In the Chinese pharmacopoeia, the preparation Tangzhiqing tablet also contains nuciferine.

    Suggested use: dissolve 600-800mg (1/4 teaspoon) into a cup of hot water or tea, or alcoholic beverage. It is not recommended to exceed 5000 mg per day.

  • Blue Lotus Extract - Nuciferine Plus (Nymphaea caerulea) has a confirmed 10% Nuciferine, plus boosted levels of two other ingredients in Blue Lotus Flowers.

    Suggested use: dissolve 300-500mg (1/4 teaspoon) into a cup of hot water or tea, or alcoholic beverage. It is not recommended to exceed 2000 mg per day.

    This Blue Lotus Extract can be used as a food additive, in Tea or other beverages, and in skin care products.

    200:1 means that 200gms of Blue Lotus Flowers went into making 1gm of Blue Lotus Extract.

    Chrysin belongs to a class of chemicals called flavonoids. It occurs naturally in plants such as the passionflower, silver linden, and some geranium species; and in honey and bee propolis (glue). Flavonoids are natural substances found in a variety of plants that may have several significant biological effects. It is widely distributed in plants and has been studied for antioxidant, antispasmodic, anxiolytic, and anti-inflammatory activities.

    Gamma-Aminobutyric acid or GABA is the chief inhibitory neurotransmitter in the developmentally mature mammalian central nervous system. Its principal role is reducing neuronal excitability throughout the nervous system. GABA is considered an inhibitory neurotransmitter because it blocks, or inhibits, certain brain signals and decreases activity in your nervous system. When GABA attaches to a protein in your brain known as a GABA receptor, it produces a calming effect. This can help with feelings of anxiety, stress, and fear.
