She graduated from Loughborough University School of Art and Design in 2002 with a BA(hons) in Silversmithing and Jewellery Design and continued into the profession by working for various established designers over the last nine years. Sophie designs and makes her own jewellery collections and has created many bespoke commission pieces for clients. The open nature of her degree course allowed for experimentation with various materials and techniques, providing her with a broader knowledge and understanding of the limitless possibilities of jewellery design. Her love of art and craft also inspired her to share her knowledge and skills. She has worked with adults and children of all ages and abilities in many different settings, teaching jewellery design and making but also a wide range of fun, craft-based, creative projects.
