Circa 1922. Fliegertruppe aerial lens. 43* angle of coverage. Vintage Zeiss Tessar large format lens. Classic vintage Zeiss Tessar view camera lens with large coverage. Heavy duty build. Will cover up to 8x10 cameras with no movements. This brass barrel Tessar lens weighs about 1.5lbs. Eighteen (18) blade lens aperture. Lens apertures are f/4.5 to f/64. Non coated lens. These early brass lenses from Zeiss are engraved on the lens barrel with the diameter of the lens openings in MM's from 3 to 48mm's. Regular f/stop marking on this early Zeiss brass barrel lens as well. Lens in is Ex or 8 out of 10 cosmetic condition. No dings or dents. Lens barrel in very nice condition. Good working order. Clear otics that have been cleaned best as possible for a vintage lens. Smooth working lens aperture with no oil on the blades. Good non-coated glass.  No haze or fog. Some small dust spots inside that can be seen with a flashlight only. Overall very nice condition Zeiss Tessar vintage aerial lens. Lens mounting flange included. Mounting flange diameter is approx. 100mm. Lens will require a 4 x 4 " or larger size lens board. Front and rear lens filter diameter is approx. 65mm. Lens length is 55mm.
