Item Description and Condition Assessment.  The flash was tested by inserting 4 fresh batteries.  Although it did not appear to be completely dead, only the “Ready” light would illuminate, it would never fire, the charging sound would occur for a second, but never fully charge the flash.  Sometimes, the focus illuminator would come one and stay on.  Obviously it is dead, and is offered here for part or repair only.  The battery compartment is clean and the compartment door is intact.
