This is an antique Victorian hand painted portrait miniature of a woman wearing a black dress and lacy bonnet.

Very good attention to detail and you could pick this lady out of a crowd with this image. Wearing a longguard and a pretty brooch keeping her lacy collar in place.

It has been put in a nice little black lacquered wooden frame with a gilt acorn fitting at the top.
No maker's marks or artist's signatures etc.

In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. No damage to the portrait itself but the gilding on the frame is worn in places and there are some knocks and wear on the very edges.
Please see all pictures provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition.
The portrait measures approx. 3 and 5/8 inches x 3 and 1/8 inches.
The frame measures approx. 6 inches x 5 and 1/4 inches in total.
