This is a cool find - in 1987 Matchbox put out a series of Chinese Astrological Racing Cars, dubbed the Dragon Racing Team. They feature a dozen of the "world's greatest Chinese racing team" vehicles.
This is the sixth model from that series - the #6 Pontiac Firebird, representing the astrological creature of Horse. It is a white car with a horse decal on the hood and the number "6" on the hood and roof, as well as "Racing Team" written on the rear spoiler.
I have never removed it from its box, and it seems to still be sealed close. Both the car and box are in very nice shape. These have been stored in my basement for over 30 years so they have aged and the first I've seen them is when they came up for this sale.
