Beautiful formal earrings from an estate. Silver glass seed beads are hand sewn an form a fashionable knot on each earring. From the back, it appears the beads are sewn onto silk, then the silver tone metal backs glued and fastened onto the silk. I'm not confident the silver tone backs are original to the earrings, possibly a more recent repair or backs added to other vintage fashion item (buttons, adornments, etc). The front of the earrings look to be in good condition. Fabric on the backs have typical vintage wear but no apparent tears, etc. Metal clips have minimal wear considering age. The earrings are square in shape, but worn with angles/points at North and South, so considered rhombus and measurements are from the North angle to South, not flat side to side. The North to South angle measurement is 1.25".
