The UV in sunlight is harsh on materials and especially on the solar controller that cost thousands to replace!

The LCD screens degrade over time.  Inverter manufacturers advise mounting inverters out of direct solar irradiation, as this can cause excessive heating and thus power reduction.  It also causes premature ageing of the exterior plastic parts as well as the internal electronic components.  However we see it all the time that they are left in full sign near the roof in full sun exposure.

A quality slat style aluminum cover can protect your inverter using our powder coated materials and supplied as a DIY flat pack

·         Slat Colours: These are Satin Black, Shale grey, Dark grey, White, Merbau, Cream, Teak or Red Cedar

·         Frame Colours: Black, Dark Grey, Cream, Merbau or White

·         Finish: All parts Powder Coated Aluminium

·         Hardware: Provided when joining our alloy to other alloy parts we provide

·         Adjustments: Cut to size DIY kit and without anchoring to your wall, should only take an hour to assemble

PRICING

The pricing listed is an average for an inverter screen around 1/2 SQM in size.  The price is really dependent on a few other factors so best to send sizes to get accurate price.  The price uses plain colours and 10mm gaps. It is all custom and your final price may be a little more or less so send your sizes to us 

 

MEASUREMENTS

Simple - Allow your clearances and gaps away from your Inverter Unit as our frame is around 50mm.  MESSAGE me what width and height and depth you want.  The gaps we use between slats are 10mm and the height needs to follow our height guides below to make sure the front door is all even gaps.  Horizontal Slats is standard

- 2 x 50x50mm Frame bracket inserts that you connect to the wall

- F-Channels and slats that make the front door

- 50x50 frames and set backs from the wall

- Caps and finishing parts to cover your ends

- Screws and spaces to join our slats to alloy together.

- Hinges for the front top hinged door.

- Use one of the heights to make sure your cover is evenly spaced

FREE pickup from Narangba Warehouse. We cut Tuesdays and Thursdays so have order in prior. Will fit into most cars.
