This is a very nicely carved Elephant Letter Opener.  Fine detail, appears to be quite old, has a rose carved in the section below the elephant, and birds carved in the cutter section.  Unfortunately it appears there was a crack at one time, but it was repaired, but if you look closely at the photos you can see it.  It appears very stable, though, a good glue was used.  Barely detracts from the beauty of this great letter opener.  You will love it.  I love to combine shipping for you, USUALLY the smaller or lighter item ships free.  ALSO ON SHIPPING- PLEASE KNOW THAT IF I AM HIGH ON SHIPPING I WILL REFUND YOU ANY OVERAGE OVER $2.  (I have learned that Shipping is expensive, and I am usually shocked when I go to the PO to mail as it is often higher than I anticipated)
