Moomin Mug ~ Keep Waters clean ~ 2015
Tove Jansson, the creator of the Moomin role, loved the sea and nature, and protecting the environment was a matter of course for her.
In the 70s, Tove, together with her brother Lars Jansson, illustrated exclusive Moomin Posters for the Keep Sweden Clean Foundation in her campaign "Save the Baltic Sea".
February 2015, Arabia has revived the motif of old posters in an exclusive special Mug for Keep Sweden Clean. On this cute pink Moomin Mug, Moominmamma is hiding a box of phosphate from a sea monster behind her back.
At first the mug was sold only in Sweden and on cruise ships sailing between Finland and Sweden. Later the mug became available at the Moomin Shop in Helsinki
