Johann Puch's first factory was on Strauchergasse in Graz. Later, in the larger »Eins-Werk« also motorcycles and cars. As was the case in many places in the 1920s and 1930s, Austro-Daimler-Puchwerke AG merged with Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG in 1934. After the conversion to armaments production in the Second World War, peaceful vehicles followed again after the end of the war. After almost 100 years of production history, the trademark rights went to Piaggio, which produced bicycles and mopeds with the Puch logo until the turn of the millennium. Frank Rönicke, Puch sets a historical monument with this magnificent volume. |
