Description: A very nice example of the first printing of the first edition. Walter Crane's New Series of Picture Books - No 2. Original brown cloth-spined pictorial boards. Measuring 9 inches by 8.5 inches. Great illustrations by Walter Crane. 

The book is in attractive condition with some wear and bumping to the edges (see pictures). Original decorative end papers. Light browning to prelims and end papers. Front hinge cracked and binding a little shaken but holding soundly. 

A very nice example. Scarce.
