Chinese money plant (Pilea peperomiodes), also known as pancake plant or missionary plant is one of the most desirable indoor plants. 

This attractive and rare indoor plant has slightly succulent stems and glossy flat round green leaves with leathery texture and little shiny.

The Chinese Money plant is very easy to maintain and fast growing.

This is an ideal indoor plant. It prefers a partially sunny location and well-drained soil.

Water it once a week. Keep the soil moist, not wet.  

Some information about planting and care of Chinese money plant

-  Fill a 9 cm or 10 cm diameter pot with a normal compost mixture, plant the Chinese money plant and water it adequately. As the plant grows you can gradually change into a bigger pot.

- The Chinese money plant prefers a well-draining potting soil, and a pot with drainage holes is necessary. The soil needs to be mostly dry out between waterings, with more watering required in warmer, sunnier weather. If the leaves start to look slightly droopy, that’s a sign the plant needs water.

- In terms of light, the best situation for a Chinese money plant is bright light, with no direct sunlight (light shade may encourage larger leaves). Direct sun scorches the leaves.

- To keep your Chinese money plant nicely shaped, rotate it at least once a week to prevent it from getting lopsided. The large leaves tend to accumulate dust, so these plants benefit from regular showers, or at least wiping down their leaves. Treat monthly with an all-purpose plant fertilizer during the spring and summer growing seasons. You may also want to put your plant outdoors as temperatures warm, but, again, take care to keep it out of direct sunlight.
