After ebay/paypal fees etc and ebay fees on the postage, and then the postage & packing costs. Then Export Taxes (you don't see this), it just isn't worth it on our part, we just end up losing out. We have to now fill in Customs Forms, which take up our time and then Pay the UK Taxes. These books are heavy and putting all the books in one/two boxes doesn't change the price. And now international postage, also goes on the size of the package. Postage prices also goes on weight, not how many are in a box, it doesn't make any difference. And in the last 3 years International postage prices have gone up by more than 50% partly due to Covid, fuel and transportation increases etc. So there isn't anything we can do about that, this down to them, not us. And we price all our books up at a good fair price, so there is no more room for any more discount. Sorry

Info/example, Selling at book for £30, plus the p&p £30 = £60 you pay, after ebay fees etc, etc. We get £50, not the £60 you pay All our books are sent via Royal Mail, International Tracked. And before you ask, we will not send them anyother way (Not surface, or any other Postal Company etc)Due to pasted 'lost post, damages etc' Its just not worth our time and effort' So Again thanks for looking - Mark

Product Information

On 6 June 1944, HMS Belfast supported troops in action on the beaches of Normandy in the campaign to liberate Europe from Nazi Germany. HMS Belfast at D-Day recounts this extraordinary story, focusing on the dramatic events of 6 June but setting the context of the ship's history in the Arctic Convoy Service and Battle of North Cape. It describes the build-up to D-Day as seen and experienced by Belfast's people, and explains her role in the longer Battle for Normandy. Using first-hand accounts from IWM's rich collection of oral testimonies, diaries, and memoirs along with over 200 colour photographs, HMS Belfast at D-Day brings to life her leading role in the largest invasion operation in history.
