In attractive condition with some wear and chipping, had written title to the spine (see pictures). Internally clean with some had written amendments. Binding sound and square. 

This was Norman Davey's third novel, and concerns a demobbed officer's obsession with a blonde girl playing the tables at Monte Carlo. Davey was a highly-respected gas turbine engineer, and his strange novels with fantasy elements were apparently unknown to his professional circle.
