Snaps shut with a metal frame embellished with a black, red and green (stone?) clasp. Letter 'R' stamped on hinge of frame. Gold strap loops at either end (strap not included).
The internal part of the bag is lined in grosgrain fabric, probably originally black but now faded to a deep purple colour. One side has a small pouch underneath a metal 'Judith Leiber' stamp, and the other has a zippered section. Zip is functional but quite stiff.
Condition: please note that this is a vintage item (probably 1970s?) and as such, shows signs of wear commensurate with age. In natural light the bag appears black, but upon close inspection under electric light, there are signs of wear which give the leather a greenish patina (please see photos for detail).
I bought this many years ago from a vintage boutique in the States, but unfortunately no longer have many opportunities to wear it.
