The Journal of the International Society of Military Collectors, provides an eclectic but in depth look at the Uniforms and accouterments of varied  military units in many time periods, especially yhe Napoleonic Wars.  This is a wonderful collection of articles with sketches photos and  full color plates in the center.   As such it is an important resource for research into the uniforms of European forces, with an emphasis on France & Britain and the Commonwealth.   It was published by Belmont-Maitland Ltd, of 188 Piccadilly, London England, which was the location of Norman Newton, a purveyor of fine military miniatures, antiques and prints. Tradition of London also owned the Charles C Stadden Collection of the Finest Military Miniatures, and these magazines serve as their catalog.

A must for the military historian and/or miniature collector/painter.
