This is a rare c1910 vintage Cammell Laird & Co Ltd Shipyard Birkenhead, Sheffield, Crimesthorpe&Penistone advertising desk paperweight/match striker.It is made of a shelter like material with a brass inlaid advertising panel each side.It is weighted in the bottom and it is in a very good condition with a separation/split of its back left leg from its hoof(this could be carefully mended if so desired).Its overall measurements are 9.8cm tall x 10.3cm long x 5cm deep.
