Please note: I have added 15 photos to the bottom of this listing to try and show the item in as much detail as possible so please take the time to view them all carefully.

I do not understand the thought process of some buyers...they browse an item and put in an offer.. it is accepted then they NEVER pay. Time wasters, this is the second item this person offered on and did not pay for !! You will not do it again !!

This is an original handwritten vellum document consisting of 2 complete pages dated 1893.
These pages are the Probate of the Will of Mr John Webb of Bradford - deceased.

John Webb of Moorside Place in Idle near Bradford formerly an INNKEEPER but now out of business.

Given to his two sons William Webb and Benjamin Thomas Webb.

The pages are held together at the bottom with ribbons within the vellum and with a large embossed seal at the bottom.

It is stamped and signed on the back by witnesses and other legal people involved.

The weights on the corners of the document are not included, they were just used to flatten it for photography purposes since it has been folded up for hundreds of years.

The vellum is folded and creased heavily but no rips or tears as far as I can see.
The vellum is discoloured in places, mostly on the folded edges.

The document as a whole measures approx. 21 and 1/2 inches x 16 inches.

My stock ref: in deed box #T189.

Very good original document if you happen to be related to anyone on the document. These look well framed behind glass and make great talking points.
