Here is a rare Blair Camera Company English Compact Reversible Back camera. The camera is a full plate 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 size. It is made of a high quality mahogany wood. The camera sets up fine. The bellows are original but do show wear as seen in the photos. It has a brass lens which is unmarked but is an f8 lens so probably a rapid rectilinear. The diaphragm works. The glass is clean. The camera has its original leather strap. A beautiful display camera. Check out my other auctions for some other really rare early American wood cameras.
