Description
Pulse metal detector Pirate - an DIY Kit of an inexpensive and high-quality metal detector, which you can assemble yourself. Pirate is an improved version of metal detectors of your line. The circuitry used on the board is based on the famous Pirat metal detector.
The Pirate metal detector is able to find small coins at a distance of up to 20 cm, and it observes large objects at a depth of 1.5 m. Using the device, you can search for metals of any nature - both black and non-ferrous.
A small number of additional external parts for the device makes it an excellent purchase if you want to try yourself in the search for various values, but are not confident enough in your hobby for buying an expensive professional device. All you need to get started is a battery, search coils and headphones or a speaker.
Making a search coil
For the manufacture of the search coil will need a rigid non-metallic mandrel Ø from 20 cm or more.
