This unique and collectible item features a tote bag from the New York Daily News and a pencil with a Plains, GA peanut design, both commemorating Jimmy Carter's 1976 presidential campaign. The bag and pencil are in excellent vintage condition and showcase Carter's political legacy, including his presidency from 1974-77 and his First Lady, Rosalynn Carter. This item is a must-have for any political or historical memorabilia collector.

TOTE:  1976  Canvas  17" x 12 1/2"  Printed on Front with reproduction of the July 15, 1976 DAILY NEWS front page announcement that Carter Wins on lst Ballot for Democratic Nomination for President.  This tote has never been used and has been stored for past 40 plus years.  Back of tote is plain with no printing.

PENCIL:  1976 ?  Not sure but came with the Carter Tote.  This pencil is LARGE measures 11" long and has never been used.  Promotes Plains Georgia with pictures of Main St., Old Railroad Depot and the Baptists Church with a Peanut (of course) on top.
