Coral earrings hallmarked "NAKAI".  Husband and wife duo, Gilo and Grace Nakai share the hallmark "Nakai".  Grace and Gilo have been designing and making jewelry for over 50 years. They opened Nakai Trading Company in Albuquerque, NM in 1975. Grace is a brilliant designer combining both traditional and contemporary designs in their work.  They are known for using a mix of turquoise, precious and semi precious stones in their jewelry.   The coral is set in a foundation of sterling silver. Angel Skin Coral is the romantic name for the light pink coral found in the seas around Japan, Taiwan, and Hawaii. The beauty of sterling silver is it can become dark and be polished back to a bright shine time after time with a soft polishing cloth.
