Vintage Doll Antiu-Xixona de Sanchis Mira Made in Jijona, Spain Cloth Felt Spanish Dancer with Castanets.  This beautifully dressed dancer doll appears to be an earlier Layna by the appearance of her costume and the less curvaceous style, possibly late 1940's.  She is dressed in traditional costume with shawl and pretty floral skirt.  Her hair is in a bun and she has lovely  earrings. This girl is wearing faux pearl earrings and has little black felt lace up shoes, crinoline, pantaloons, socks, lovely blouse
with black apron trimmed with lace.  She doesn't stand by herself and her active dancing pose really gives life to this little doll.  Her facial expression is one of determination and mystique.  The castanets appear to be  wood with thread streamers.  She is a very pretty doll.
