PARAGON MAJESTY QUEEN MARY SERVICE 8902 HAND PAINTED TEAPOT Very Rare
The bad news is this beautiful display Paragon Queen Mary teapot with decoration in good condition has 2 cracks on the base and lower sides.  To be clear, this teapot is being sold as a purely display teapot.  The cracks are right through the botton/sides and likely cannot hold water/tea.  The last pictures show the cracks.  There is also a small flaw, on the underside of the spout. However, the teapot is still steardy and should be fine to ship anywhere in Canada or the United States as it will be double boxed, corner reinforced, and protected with plenty of shipping material.  Unfortunately, due to the value of this item and the cracks in it, this is only available to International buyers outside the US if they have it sent to a US destination and then solely assume all the risk for shipping from the US to wherever they reside.
Based on the time to ship items, I would recommend FED EX over Canada Post.  From the few items I have shipped, fed ex ground deliveries took an average of 2 days while Canada Post took between a week and a month.  More time to ship means a better chance of the occurrence of shipping damage.
This teapot has sat as a diplay piece in my late mother's favorite display cabinet for over 50 years.  The positive of this is the teapot was never used by my late mother so the decoration outside and condition inside is good, other than the cracks.  Neither I nor any other family members nor any of my late mother's friends ever even knew the teapot was cracked at all.  Although in good condition, other than the cracks, for its age, this teapot may have minor aging and use imperfections like light scratches, some trim wear and/or trim discoloration, tiny discoloration areas or spots, and/or some minor crazing.  I find in this Paragon 8902 teapot, like others I have seen for sale, there are some discoloration spots/areas mainly in the tan colored dyed areas.
Please see the detailed pictures and use the magnifying device to assess the condition of this teapot.  A few of the pictures have a yellow tint.  These are displayed because they show the cracks and/or flaws better. This is being sold as purely a display piece to sit in your favorite china/display cabinet.
One seller of a similar Paragon 8902 teapot said other examples of this teapot were auctioned at Christie's in the past.
Another seller wrote the following of this 8902 Paragon Queen Mary Teapot:
"Hand painted, reproduction tea pot, pattern 8902. Originally this pattern was presented to Her Majesty Queen Mary on her visit to the Paragon Pottery in 1913 and was made available to the public at a later date.I believe this pattern went out of production in the 1940s."
It is very difficult to find this teapot for sale almost anywhere.
This teapot is being sold as is.
I provide feedback after I receive feedback.
