For your consideration I have this quite rare 3rd generation Lamy Safari Charcoal fountain pen..
This is the 3rd version of the Safari that was made from 1990 to c1995.
The Lamy Safari was launched in 1980 in the colors Savannah Green, Terracotta and Charcoal Black. The Savannah Green and Terracotta models were discontinued a few years later, but the Charcoal Black remained in the Safari lineup until today.
This 3rd gen Charcoal Black is quite a rare find, especially in a condition like this. The 3rd gen features: - a metal inner cap screw, -2 wide and 2 narrow slots at the threaded end of the section, - an unmarked black nib and - GERMANY marked on the barrel end.
The only difference with the 2nd generation (1982 - 1989) is that it had just 2 wide slots in the section and had W-GERMANY imprinted on the barrel end.
The pen is New Old Stock an in mint condition.
Comes in its original carton factory box and will be shipped by registered mail.
